Jill’s Spare Thyme Treats, Catering & More!

Allow me to share a bit about myself and the journey that led to the creation of this endeavor. After 34 fulfilling years as a Registered Nurse, I found myself at a new crossroads during the COVID era. It was then that I discovered my true passion – cultivating herbs, fruits, and vegetables, and raising chickens for farm-fresh eggs.

Though I cherished my nursing career, the newfound time at home allowed me to delve deeper into my love for cooking, baking, and experimenting with flavors. As I began crafting custom Bridal Showers for friends, infusing their favorite treats with unique herb blends and special touches, my passion for culinary creativity ignited.

Jill's Culinary Philosophy: A Niche Found, a Passion Nurtured

​“When I started, I didn't know where my niche was going to be exactly. I think maybe my niche found me. I primarily do dinners for people and deliver to their homes. I also offer catering for smaller events showers, luncheons, smaller weddings, family gatherings and other events of the like. Crazy doesn't really bother me so don't be afraid to run crazy ideas past me. I love people with food, try to make people's busy lives easier and try to be a champion for small businesses and local farmers. I usually have flour marks on my pants and my hair isn't as fixed up as I would like for it to be.” - Jill Grier
